A2 Key (KET)
A2 Key, also known as Key English Test (KET), is a basic level qualification that shows you can use English to communicate in simple situations. The exam tests all four English language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking. It should give you the confidence to go on and study for higher-level exams such as PET and FCE.
A2 Key for Schools (KET fS)
A2 Key for Schools is targeted at the same CEFR level as A2 Key, but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults. It’s a logical next step after our Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners and a good place for older children to start learning English too.
B1 Preliminary (PET)
B1 Preliminary for Schools (PET fS)
B1 Preliminary for Schools is targeted at the same CEFR level as B1 Preliminary, but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults. This exam is the logical step in a student’s language learning journey between A2 Key for Schools & B2 First for Schools and helps students progress to the FCE.
B2 First (FCE)
B2 First, also known as First Certificate in English (FCE), is an upper-intermediate level qualification. It proves you can use everyday written and spoken English for work or study purposes. This exam is also recognised for the baccalaureate and allows you to be exempted from the English paper.
B2 First for Schools (FCE fS)
A B2 First for Schools qualification is targeted at the same CEFR level as B2 First, but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults. This exam is also recognised for the baccalaureate and allows you to be exempted from the English paper. It’s also a great way to prepare for higher-level exams such as CAE.
CELTA is the most widely recognised English teaching qualification in the world. It’s the qualification most often requested by employers; three out of four English language teaching jobs require a CELTA qualification. The full-time face-to-face CELTA courses are only available at our centre exclusively.
